While we gladly welcome volunteers from any background/belief system, and our programs are not faith-based, Unbound is a ministry of Antioch Community Church.
Step 1: Volunteer Application

The purpose of obtaining this information is to protect you, Unbound, and Unbound’s clients. Failure to complete any of the steps will result in an inability to serve with Unbound.
Upon completion of this step, please proceed to the other steps!
Step 2: UnBound Volunteer Agreement and Release
Step 3: UnBound Transportation Release and Waiver of Liability
Step 4: Online Training (self-paced)

Step 5: Background Check
Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Nicole Chaffee, at email@example.com to visit about your application and area of interest BEFORE completing the background check. She will also be able to give you the PASSWORD to begin your background check process.
Our desire is provide a safe environment. In order to volunteer you must complete and clear a background check, which includes a Social Security Number Verification, Address History, Nationwide Sex Offender Registry, Multi-State Criminal Search, and Single County Searches. Your information will remain confidential.
Completing and covering the cost ($44.72) of the background check is the responsibility of the volunteer. Your covering of this important process, allows Unbound to use those would-be costs to better support survivors. Click the button below to begin the process. The site will walk you through the information and payment process. Please know we are not able to accept background checks from other providers. We will receive the results directly from the provider.
